Community manager

M-TH, 8:30-12:30, Part time

We are looking for a positive and organized Community Manager to help support our coworking operations, facilitate our member’s daily needs within the space, manage our building and spaces on weekday mornings, and be a warm representing face of Campworks. With the paid position, we are also happy to extend 24-hour access to all shared work spaces and amenities in the building for the Community Manager's own work needs and use.

We are seeking someone personable and well organized with skills and kindness to manage members’ needs and inquiries, as well as support day-to-day building activities, such as preparing amenities from coffee to baked goods, and keeping amenities like printing stations and conference rooms clean and accessible. The ideal candidate is flexible, responsive, positive, and responsible — someone who can bring their energetic and caring nature to Campworks' members, and truly be a face of Campworks as a professional, peaceful, and welcoming workspace.

Community Manager will report directly to the co-founders. Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Be the first point-of-contact and concierge by working at the front desk, supporting members and guests with questions, and providing a welcoming experience for all

  • CAMPWORKS potential tour guide for new and prospective members

  • Go-to person within CAMPWORKS for all members’ needs, i.e.: conference room scheduling and set-up; mail dispersal; light IT support or technical support with such things as connecting guests to the internet and key entry; copy machine and printing station management, etc.

  • Point of contact for conference room bookings, potential CAMPWORKS workshops and events, and members’ independent events or meetings as needed.

  • Manage kitchen, food & beverages, and supply inventory and ordering, and oversee mail and package process

  • On-board and welcome new members warmly by managing their move-in process. Send off former members professionally while managing the move-out procedures

  • Keeping CAMPWORKS clean, sanitized, and an example of a responsible shared workspace during COVID

General position hours are 8:30A-12:30P Monday-Thursday. Compensation includes a shared workspace trade with 24/7 access as well as $18/hour.
Due to the nature of this position, this job requires onsite presence. Experience with hospitality, operations, or customer service is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are desired, as well as strong organizational and project management skills and a passion for working with people and leading with hospitality.
